Sue is founder of Blooming Betty, launch Fall 2009, a profiling system that captures unique, contextual data through proprietary tools that engage women in play; helping women better understand themselves; marketers better understand women; and site operators more deeply engage with women across multiple platforms/networks.
Sue founded Girlphyte.com in 2006, an online webzine about how women are redefining success that in 26 short months has received over 2.8 million hits and is now read in over 50 countries. Sue has a LLB and an LLM. She practiced law for almost 25 years, first with the Department of Justice and then with one of ’s leading law firms, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt. Sue successfully argued the meaning of equality in ’s Supreme Court, which case remains the touchstone for defining equality in . She has taught as an adjunct Professor internationally and in , both in law and business.
Sue is a regular speaker to women across on women’s issues, career, wealth and life success.
Sue is Vice-President of Women Entrepreneurs of Canada (WEC) responsible for Community Outreach; Vice - President of The International Alliance of Women (TIAW); the Founding President of Family Firm Institute Ontario Chapter (FFI ONC); a member of Access Circles US, NAWBO and CATA; a supporter of the Sophia Women’s World Conference 2010 (UN); a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and of Women in Capital Markets ( WCM ).
