Reports to: Executive Vice President of Finance and Information Systems
Responsibilities:
Hands on manager to help structure the accounting organization and rules, centralize the processing of all incoming and outgoing payments, and control all expenditures;
Advise the Executive VP of Finance and Information Systems on financial strategies and implement sound financial process;
Coordinate and participate in the design and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics for the Finance Functional Group
Professional delivery of management reports including the business analysis for existing operations;
Be responsible for financial statement, budget, forecast, and report in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and local standards and requirements;
Set and check targets, optimizing profitability, return on investment (ROI), return on assets (ROA);
Implement the internal control system and oversee all tax and regulatory/compliance issues;
Capital and treasury management;
Manage the assets depreciation in stores;
Manage the finance and accounting team, including the development of the right skills and talent to fit the company’s needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree holders with a minimum of 10 year's finance experience, preferable gained from retail enterprises; at least 5 years of managerial experience
Functional coverage of financial operations, accounting, treasury, costing, budgeting, analysis, tax planning and internal control;
Familiar with PRC legal regulations for retail and importation operations, tax and treasury regulations;
Team player with proven ability of managing complex and sizeable assignments;
Experience with ERP implementation preferred but not required
Strong business and commercial sense;
Excellent presentation and communication skills;
Excellent command of verbal and written skills of Chinese and English;
Qualified with an accounting qualification, such as CPA, HKICPA, ACCA, etc.
