Sherry Fotheringham-Gysler

As I write this letter, I am returning from a glorious holiday in Switzerland.  The group that I joined is amazingly well traveled, and while most are US citizens, I was struck by the extensiveness of the global travel on their agendas for the next few weeks.  We traded friend’s names and business contacts throughout the world – from Dubai to London.

Traveling to various parts of the world focuses one’s attention on the strength of TIAW.  The benefits of having worldwide contacts with Women Leaders are invaluable.  We as members of TIAW realize this, but we need to spread the word to other like-minded people.  The world keeps shrinking in terms of business and social interaction, and TIAW is truly in a great position to help our members maximize these opportunities.

While Maxine Westaway, in her role as our Executive Director, has been incredibly busy and successful in producing new Sponsors, Supporters, and Members for TIAW during the past few months, we all need to assist in this role.  Our contacts are extensive, so putting energy into adding new members to TIAW can be very productive, both to TIAW and to individual members.  It also creates an organization that becomes more appealing to current and future sponsors.

If you have an idea or a contact who could be useful to TIAW, please contact Maxine at info@TIAW.org. Her energy and enthusiasm is boundless and can be of great value to securing new sponsors for TIAW.
