The field trip to launch TIAW’s newest Village Banks in Mexico is now set for June 26-30, 2003. All TIAW members and their guests are invited. This is a fabulous opportunity for our members to witness first-hand how women are making a difference for their families and communities with small USD $150 loans. It’s also an occasion to experience life in two different villages in Mexico. On Friday, June 27 we will launch the first of the two Village Banks with local partner Pro Mujer Mexico in Hidalgo, Mexico. We will meet the women who will receive our loans and participate in the opening ceremonies. On Monday, June 30, we will launch our second Village Bank in Cuernavaca with the Foundation for International Community Assistance, our local partner, and again meet the women and participate in the opening ceremonies.
