Flori Roberts, TIAW member from Sarasota Florida, received the first Independent Cosmetic Manufactures and Distributors Lifetime Achievement Award at the organization's Annual meeting in New York City. She was recognized by her peers as the pioneer in Black Cosmetics and Camouflage Make-up, and for promoting entrepreneurship for women in the Beauty industry. Flori serves on the Executive Board for ICMAD which represents 800 small the medium size companies in the Health and Beauty Aid field, helping them to stay competitive and informed in the global marketplace. The award was presented at the inaugural event by TV personality and sportscaster Phyllis George, who will soon launch her own skin care collection.
