For some of us it was on to Singapore.

It’s always a pleasure to visit the beautiful city of Singapore, especially when you are able to combine that with meeting TIAW members and leadership of WBC (Women’s Business Connection) and PrimeTime (PrimeTime Business and Professional Women’s Association), and attend their events, it makes it that much more enjoyable.

Diane Morris, who lived in Singapore for four years, and myself who has been to Singapore many times over the past twenty years, were delighted to visit old and new friends, and invite them to attend events.

March 20th, WBC held their Annual General Meeting and Luncheon at the American Club which provided us a wonderful opportunity to meet their members and guests. Diane Morris addressed the attendees and emphasized TIAW programs and membership benefits.

Following a wonderful lunch and networking, thanks to the arrangements by Tara Kimbrell Cole, we had the privilege of meeting with Wee Wan Joo, President of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations at their office, along with some of their board members, to learn more about their mission and projects.  It was wonderful to reconnect with these women with whom I had previously worked at WLN (Women Leaders’ Network), which is part of APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation).
