Corporations that are leaders in gender diversity have implemented mentoring programs to help women become aware of their potential and manage their careersmore effectively. Sponsorship, as opposed to mentorship, is also powerful, as implies senior executives taking personal responsibility for creating opportunities for women and acting as their champions.
