Host an event

TIAW holds its Global Cities events in the top international cities in the world. These cities have most or all of the following characteristics:

• An international community – a point of global business and travel connection
• Active in the influence of and participation in international affairs and world affairs
• Has a population count exceeding one million
• Has an international airport
• Is known for a lively cultural scene (has many different cultures and communities)
• Attracts foreign businesses and related "expat” communities
• Is the home of international financial institutions, law firms, corporate headquarters
• Enjoys world-renowned cultural and academic institutions
• Exhibits 30% or more women in significant roles of leadership, either public or private
• Offers a safe environment for travelers

Washington, New York, London, Paris, Cairo, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Buenos Aires, Santiago (Chile), Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Toronto are but a few examples.
