Alliance Partners TIAW understands the value of aligning its efforts with organizations of similar intent. Organizations that are neither partisan nor political and whose mission does not conflict/compete directly with TIAW objectives and mission are welcome to join our efforts to advance the economic empowerment of women worldwide. At their best, alliance partners are complimentary to each other and generate a win/win for both organizations. Organizations wishing to explore an alliance partnership with TIAW may email president@tiaw.org We currently partner with the organizations shown on this page. CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
Quantum Leaps drives global change by collaborating with a network of powerful partners on building capacity as well as access to money and markets for women entrepreneurs. Strong research is vital too, as it helps shape evidence-based policy-making that can grow economies and create jobs.
The Global Summit of Women focuses on women providing the bridge to solutions in the worlds of business, government, and civil society. For 21 years, the Global Summit of Women has been enabling women leaders to make change in their businesses, in their networks, in their countries, regions, and globally.
The Cherie Blair Foundation's mission is to provide women with the skills, technology, networks and access to finance that they need to become successful small and growing business owners, so that they can contribute to their economies and have a stronger voice in their societies.
Global Board Ready Women (GBRW) initiative is an international list of women who are qualified to sit on a board. The searchable database, list and forum will be administered by the Financial Times Non-Executive Director's Club on the global business platform, LinkedIn as a closed group. The list is compiled by the European Business Schools/Women on Boards Task Force in association with The Forte Foundation. The GBRW group consists of women who are aspiring to be on, or who are already on a board, who meet a clear set of criteria as worked on and defined over the last year and a half by the European Business Schools/Women on Board initiative and are therefore suitable to be considered for publicly listed company board-level positions.
